What is DeliverLX?
DeliverLX is a platform launched to help people in Lisbon support their local restaurants.
eStart4 provides the software solution for restaurants to convert their website and social media channels into a direct ordering system without charging commission fees. Now, eStart4 has teamed up with the Bairro Alto Restaurant Association, which represents nearly 250 restaurants and bars in Lisbon, to provide a platform where consumers can make these commission-free food orders.
Consumers get to experience delivery and takeout from a variety of restaurants in Lisbon and be certain they are supporting restaurants in their local community when they need it most.
Why has DeliverLX been created?
The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in endless restrictions and curfews with many businesses suffering from the lack of customers. That’s why now more than ever, it is important for everyone to support those struggling businesses in their local community. As the Covid-19 pandemic has developed, the largest beneficiaries in the food ordering sector has been the already well-established aggregators such as Uber Eats, Glovo or Bolt Food in Portugal. However, these third party food delivery platforms charge extortionate commission fees which results in restaurants losing up to 35% in commission fees with every order they recieve.
Rob Kramer, the founder of eStart4 and co-founder of DeliverLX has stated that the mission of DeliverLX is to “help connect local businesses with clients commission free”, ultimately helping restaurants take their business profits back into their hands.
Who is on DeliverLX?
On DeliverLX, you can already order from a great variety of restaurants, including the fantastic El Bulo Social Club, Senhor Abel and Chakburger from the celeb chef Chakall. In addition to the Brazilian restaurant A Coxinharia and the Italian restuarant Limoncello Heritage.

How does it work for restaurants?
DeliverLX was formed with the best interests of restaurants in mind. That means, there are no commission fees! Instead, restaurants pay a small subscription fee instead which means they get to keep far more of their profits no matter how many orders they take.
DeliverLX has additionally teamed up with local delivery contractors to organise the deliveries and ensure timely services for orders.
